 I know there are many people who do not like Beyonce because of her fans antics, but I'm asking you to disregard them and give an honest opinion. I am not a fan of her, but I feel like in time she can become a legend. This generation will not have many, if any, greats. That aside, what do you guys think of Beyonce being a legend? |

She's not a legend, but she is the queen of repeat moves and pucci poppin. I tried to be a stan of hers a little ways back..Her performances are repetitive.. and by this post you can tell my opinion.

HeShe is really famous, but she isn't legend ready yet. Lets wait until she gets a little older and see if her fame still keeps up.

I don't think that she is a legend.
To me, to be a legend you must have:
-Helped the music industry in one way shape or form, in which I have yet to see.
-You must have broke some type of barrier. What barrier has she broken? Michael broke color lines, Janet & Madonna both broke sexism lines, & Prince has broken crossing any type of sexual line in music, helping other forms of music kick start it's way into the music industry, and he also let people know that you don't have to censor yourself in music. Just tell it how it is and move on.
-Prince, Michael, Janet, & Madonna have all attributed greatly to letting people know to just be themselves whatever themselves is. And personally they have all (EVEN MADONNA & I DON'T EVEN LIKE HER LMFAO) helped me in understanding myself and letting me know that it's okay to be myself.
-You must have also attributed to the positives in humanity. Michael, Prince, Janet, & Madonna have all exemplified this.
What has Beyonce done besies shake her ass, toss a few donation dollars here & there, and yell into the microphone on every album??
Granted, I do like her range, and quite a few of her songs, but there are plenty of attributes that she has not proven to qualify to be deemed a legend.
So. Beyonce is not a legend, she has yet to be one. And even if time passes by, she might get the benefit of the doubt and be deemed a icon. Tuh!

I think this generation will deem her and many others as legends simply because they have no one else. Beyonce is very talented, but I feel she does not meet the criteria (at least right now) to be deemed a legend/one of the greats of music. I don't want to turn this into a bash fest or stan war, but her music shows she is not multidimensional like the greats were/are.
